5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Tremors Felt in Karachi

Earthquake tremors measuring 5.2 magnitude were felt in Karachi and its surrounding areas late at night.
According to reports, the tremors were felt at around 12:51 AM, causing panic among residents, with many people rushing out of their homes and offices.
The Seismological Center said the earthquake had a depth of 12 kilometers, while its epicenter was near Sonmiani, about 87 kilometers northwest of Karachi.
Tremors were reported in several parts of the city, including Clifton, Saddar, SITE Area, DHA Phase 8, PECHS, Shah Faisal Colony, Liaquatabad and Buffer Zone.
Residents of Liaquatabad described the tremors as particularly strong.
However, authorities have so far reported no casualties or property damage from the earthquake.
