Why did PTI remove Rauf Hassan from his party position? Sher Afzal’s big revelation

Islamabad – Expelled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat has turned his criticism towards the party’s former Information Secretary Rauf Hassan.
Speaking on a private TV programe, Marwat questioned the justification for his removal from PTI. He stated that if there is still a possibility of his reinstatement, it means that the previous two notifications regarding his expulsion were incorrect. “Was there ever a valid reason given for my removal? The latest notification also fails to provide any justification,” he remarked.
Marwat also took aim at Rauf Hassan, accusing him of making statements against him in the past and doing so again recently. He claimed that Hassan was removed from his position because, as a member of the political committee, he was allegedly selling recorded proceedings of party meetings to media personnel and YouTubers. Additionally, Marwat accused Hassan of leaking information to the establishment.
Recalling Hassan’s past, Marwat said, “Rauf Hassan was initially given a platform out of sympathy after an attack by transgender individuals. However, his role in the party was merely that of a salaried employee, receiving a monthly salary of 800,000 PKR.” He further alleged that in the last one and a half years, Hassan has misappropriated over 50 million PKR.
On the issue of party discipline, Marwat emphasized that he initially remained silent out of respect for party rules, but now, he believes discipline no longer exists within PTI. “They used discipline as an excuse to expel me, repeatedly humiliated me, and disrespected me. Discipline only seems to matter when no one speaks against them. If they do, I will continue to respond,” he asserted.
