Stage actress hospitalized after alleged gang rape in Sadiqabad; Police launch investigation

Sadiqabad: A tragic incident of alleged gang rape of a stage actress has taken place in Sadiqabad, a city of Punjab.
According to details, the victim has been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance, where she is undergoing treatment.
Rescue officials said that the actress was immediately taken to the hospital after her condition deteriorated, where initial medical examinations and necessary tests are being conducted.
The victim’s stage actress alleges that three men invited her to a farm house to attend a party, where she was raped after being given an intoxicating drink.
“The investigation into the incident is ongoing and evidence is being collected for legal action,” says the District Police Officer (DPO). The police have initiated steps to arrest the accused, he added.
