Hania Aamir denounces viral Instagram post as fake and fabricated

Karachi: Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has strongly denied a viral Instagram post falsely attributed to her, calling it “fake” and “baseless,” and distancing herself from any such statements.

In a statement shared on her official Instagram story, Hania clarified: “A false statement has been circulating on social media in my name. I categorically deny having said or supported anything of the sort. It does not represent my views.”

She emphasized the importance of empathy during sensitive times, adding: “This is a deeply painful and delicate moment. Politicizing it only fuels more hatred. We must move toward compassion and healing.”

Addressing her followers, Hania urged caution: “Your love means a lot to me. Please verify the authenticity of any post before sharing it.”

The clarification comes after a violent incident in Indian-occupied Kashmir’s Pahalgam area on April 22, where India—without evidence—blamed Pakistan. In response, several Pakistani celebrities, including Hania Aamir, reportedly faced social media restrictions or bans by Indian authorities.
