Where life fades, trees thrive: A stark reality

An aerial view of Sakhi Hassan Cemetery in Karachi reveals a striking contrast, where people live, trees are dying and where the departed rest, trees thrive.

The irony is striking—dead bodies nourish the earth, allowing trees to thrive, while the living neglect the green around them.

This situation mirrors what’s happening in rural areas, where rapid development of housing societies is replacing greenery. Climate change is not a force of nature; it’s a human-made crisis.

We must act now! Plant trees for ourselves, our children, and the generations to come. It’s time to reclaim our planet, to fight for a future where nature and humanity coexist in harmony.
