PM Shehbaz Sharif extends Eid greetings to Turkish President Erdoğan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, extending warm greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
During the call, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the unwavering support of Pakistan and Türkiye, and agreed to expedite the implementation of key decisions made in recent meetings.
Prime Minister Sharif also expressed gratitude to President Erdoğan for Türkiye’s strong support during the recent Pakistan-India tensions, while the Turkish President conveyed his best wishes to the people of Pakistan.
Earlier, PM Shehbaz also contacted Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to convey Eid greetings and appreciated Oman’s balanced stance during the regional tensions, emphasising the need to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
