Historic Thriller: Nepal vs Netherlands Decided After Three Super Overs in T20 Tri-Series

Glasgow: Cricket fans witnessed an unforgettable and record-breaking T20 clash as Nepal and the Netherlands battled through three super overs to decide the winner in the second match of the ongoing T20 Tri-Series, which also includes Scotland.
The match, played at Glasgow Cricket Stadium, proved to be a roller-coaster ride from start to finish. Batting first, the Netherlands set a competitive total of 152 runs for 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Nepal fought valiantly but could only match the total, scoring 152 runs for 8 wickets, resulting in a thrilling tie.
First Super Over:
To break the deadlock, the first super over was played. Nepal batted first and posted 19 runs for the loss of one wicket. The Netherlands, however, matched the score without losing a wicket, tying the match once again.
Second Super Over:
The excitement continued into a second super over. This time, the Netherlands batted first and set a target of 17 runs with the loss of one wicket. Nepal responded strongly and managed to score exactly 17 runs, forcing yet another tie.
Third Super Over:
In the third super over, Nepal’s luck finally ran out. Batting first, they lost both their wickets without scoring a single run, leaving the Netherlands needing just one run to win. Michael Levitt stepped up and finished the game in style with a towering six, securing victory for the Netherlands in historic fashion.
