AFC President to Visit Pakistan Next Month

Football fans in Pakistan have a reason to celebrate as the Asian Football Confederation President will visit the country next month. The purpose of this visit is to discuss the development of football in Pakistan and explore ways to strengthen the sport’s structure. This visit is seen as an important step toward reviving international football activities in the country.

According to sources, the President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, will arrive in Pakistan on November 5 for a two-day official visit. He will be accompanied by other senior AFC officials who will meet with representatives of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).

The AFC President is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of PFF President Mohsin Gillani. His visit is considered a valuable opportunity to enhance cooperation between the AFC and Pakistan Football Federation for the growth of the sport.

Sources said Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim will also meet the Prime Minister of Pakistan and other key government officials during his stay. These meetings will focus on football infrastructure, training programs, and creating more opportunities for young players.

In addition, the Asian Football Confederation President will hold meetings with members of the PFF Executive Committee. His visit is expected to play a crucial role in promoting football in Pakistan and strengthening international partnerships in the sport.
