Naqvi, Bugti Praise FC Balochistan for Fighting Terrorism

QUETTA – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti visited FC Balochistan North Headquarters on Thursday. They were warmly welcomed by Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, Inspector General of the force, who introduced them to officers and personnel. Both dignitaries laid flowers at the martyrs’ monument and offered prayers for fallen soldiers, acknowledging their sacrifices for the nation.
During the visit, Major General Mujtaba briefed the officials on the force’s operational readiness, training programs, and professional capabilities. He highlighted their ongoing efforts in maintaining security across the province. Both Naqvi and Bugti expressed gratitude for the force’s critical role in combating terrorism and sustaining law and order. They also emphasized the importance of supporting security forces in all counter-terrorism operations.
Interior Minister Naqvi paid special tribute to FC Balochistan North’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He noted the force’s significant contribution in countering insurgencies and extremist activities backed by external elements. Naqvi praised their professionalism, courage, and dedication, stating that the nation recognizes and values their efforts in securing the region.

CM Sarfaraz Bugti also lauded FC Balochistan North for its commitment to eliminating terrorist threats. He assured that the provincial government fully supports the security forces in their ongoing operations. “The brave men of FC Balochistan North continue to dismantle terror groups, and we remain committed to assisting them,” Bugti said. He emphasized the unity of government and security forces against terrorism.
The visit included other key officials, such as the Chief Secretary of Balochistan and the IG of Balochistan Police. The dignitaries concluded the visit by reiterating the importance of cooperation between provincial authorities and security forces. They stressed that continued support and coordination are vital to ensuring lasting peace and stability in Balochistan.
