Pakistan Football Federation Suspended by FIFA 

FIFA has suspended the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) for failing to adopt a revised constitution required for fair and democratic elections.

This suspension will only be lifted if the PFF Congress approves FIFA’s proposed changes.

The decision is part of FIFA’s ongoing normalization process, which aims to ensure transparency in football governance. FIFA has also suspended the Congolese Football Association (FECOFOOT) for similar reasons.

Haroon Malik, Chair of the PFF Normalization Committee, has warned that Pakistan could face severe consequences, including losing international participation and financial support from FIFA. The suspension stems from a deadlock between FIFA and the newly elected PFF Congress over constitutional amendments.
