ACC annual meeting scheduled for July 24 in Dhaka

Author Avatar Web Desk | 3 months ago

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi has called the annual general meeting for July 24 in Dhaka. Official notices have been sent to all member countries.

The meeting coincides with the Pakistan-Bangladesh series, increasing the likelihood of in-person attendance by delegates already present in the region.

According to sources, this will be the first ACC meeting in Bangladesh after a long gap. However, India and Sri Lanka have raised concerns over the date and venue, suggesting relocation.

Despite this, the meeting is expected to proceed as planned in Dhaka. A 15-day notice period has been given to ensure adequate preparation. Countries unable to attend physically have been offered the option to join virtually.

Online participation, common in both ACC and ICC meetings, will accommodate any absentees.
