Ahmed Rafiq Reveals He Faced Harassment Early in His Career

Pakistani actor Ahmed Rafiq has shared that he faced sexual harassment when he was just 19 years old. Speaking in an interview with Fuchsia alongside actress Hina Tariq, Ahmed said the incident happened on a big drama set during the early days of his career.

Ahmed explained that young actors in the industry often face harassment from powerful people. He said speaking out can sometimes hurt an actor’s career because influential people can take revenge.

He also pointed out that men are also victims of harassment, but are often too scared or ashamed to talk about it.

Actress Hina Tariq added that young actors should be strong and speak up against such behaviour. She said it’s important to take a stand to protect oneself.
