Air Marshal S.P. Dharkar Removed After Rafale Setback and Pahalgam Controversy

In a sudden move, the Indian Air Force has removed Air Marshal S.P. Dharkar just seven months after he took charge. This comes after unrest in the military following an alleged false flag attack in Pahalgam.

Sources say Dharkar had raised concerns about the Rafale fighter jets, especially after the Pakistan Air Force blocked them during an operation. He said the Rafale jets struggled against Pakistan’s modern radar systems and lost their way during the mission.

Due to doubts over his leadership, Dharkar was removed from his post. Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari is now the new Vice Chief of Air Staff.
