Ali Tareen: PSL Anthem Awards Given to the Same Middle-Aged Person Every Year

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is under fire for its artist selection for the 10th edition of the tournament. The decision to have Ali Zafar perform the official anthem once again has sparked criticism from various quarters.
Multan Sultans’ owner, Ali Khan Tareen, voiced his disappointment on Instagram, questioning why the same artist has been chosen five times, despite concerns from PSL franchises.
Tareen stated, “Pakistan has so many amazing artists, yet almost half of our anthems have been given to the same middle-aged dude. If PSL wants to make this the biggest season ever, why not introduce fresh voices?”
