“Pak Army Warns: any Indian aggression will be met with a decisive response”

Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Army’s top leadership has reaffirmed the country’s firm commitment to peace and stability, but warned that any aggression or attempt to impose war will be met with a decisive and forceful response.
The message came during a Special Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) held at General Headquarters (GHQ), chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir. The forum undertook a comprehensive review of the evolving regional and geostrategic situation, particularly the ongoing Pakistan-India tensions.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the forum condemned Indian efforts to destabilize the region, including recent provocations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), especially after the Pahalgam incident. The continued targeting of civilians along the Line of Control (LoC) was also strongly denounced.
The commanders warned that such actions only escalate tensions and would be met with a proportional and resolute response. The forum further expressed grave concern over India’s alleged attempts to exploit the Pahalgam incident to undermine the Indus Waters Treaty — a move seen as an attempt to weaponize water and threaten Pakistan’s legitimate rights.
They also voiced alarm over credible evidence suggesting direct Indian military and intelligence involvement in orchestrating terrorist activities within Pakistan — labeling these as clear violations of international norms.
General Munir praised the armed forces’ professionalism, morale, and operational readiness, and emphasized heightened vigilance across all fronts. He reiterated that Pakistan’s path to peace, development, and national sovereignty will not be derailed by terrorism, coercion, or aggression.
The COAS concluded the session with complete confidence in the military’s ability to defend the nation across the full threat spectrum.
