Army Chief Celebrates Eid with Officers and Soldiers Deployed at Border

Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir celebrated Eid with officers and soldiers stationed at the border.

According to ISPR, General Munir visited areas in South Waziristan’s Wana and Dera Ismail Khan’s Chakkan region on the occasion of Eid. He offered Eid prayers at the western border and prayed for Pakistan’s enduring stability and prosperity. During his visit, the Army Chief lauded the troops for their dedication and sacrifices, emphasizing that their loyalty not only ensures the protection of the homeland but also reflects their deep love for Pakistan.

He also praised the efforts of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their steadfastness in the fight against terrorism. General Munir paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs, stating that their struggle for peace and stability forms the foundation of Pakistan’s success.
