Asian 6-Red Snooker: Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif reaches semifinals

Colombo: Pakistan’s guest Mohammad Asif has qualified for the semifinals of the Asian 6-Red Snooker Championship after a hard-fought 5-3 victory over Malaysia’s Lim Kok Leong in the quarterfinals.
Asif dominated early, winning the first three frames to take a 3-0 lead. However, the Malaysian player mounted a comeback, narrowing the gap to 3-2. The match remained intense till the final frame, where Asif sealed the win with a brilliant pink ball pot.
He will now face another Malaysian cuisine, Thor Chuan Leong, in the semifinal.
