Quetta: The results of the annual matriculation exams in Balochistan have been announced, showing an overall pass rate of 68.10%.
Board Chair Muhammad Ishaq revealed that Aftab Alam from Balochistan Residential College topped the exam with 1051 marks. Muhammad Hashir secured the second position with 1043 marks, while Muhammad Tufail and Saqib Ali jointly held the third position with 1038 marks each.
A total of 148,114 students appeared in the exams, out of which 101,870 passed.
In class 9, 69,275 students participated with a pass rate of 46.29%, while in class 10, 78,839 candidates appeared and 68,803 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 87.27%.
