Barrister Gohar Strongly Condemns Arrest of Aleema Khan Outside Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI – Following the arrest of Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder, Barrister Gohar Khan spoke to the media outside Adiala Jail, strongly condemning the police action.
Barrister Gohar said that arresting Aleema Khan was completely illegal and unconstitutional. “The court has clearly ordered that the family should be allowed to meet Imran Khan,” he stated.
He further added that there was no legal justification for detaining the sisters of the PTI founder. “There is no court order that meetings should take place under the conditions set by jail authorities,” he said.
Clarifying the situation, Barrister Gohar said, “We did not throw any stones, nor did we announce any protest or sit-in. We simply came here to show support for Imran Khan’s sisters.”
