Basit Ali Criticises Mohammad Haris for Comments on Babar Azam

Former cricketer Basit Ali strongly criticised Mohammad Haris over his recent remarks about Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
Speaking on a local YouTube channel, Haris suggested that Babar should play faster in T20 cricket. He also hinted that senior players should step aside to give juniors more chances.
Haris added that Babar and Rizwan had delivered strong performances for Pakistan. However, he stressed that juniors must also be given opportunities to set new standards.
In response, Basit Ali expressed anger at Haris’ comments. He said Haris had no right to criticise Babar Azam’s game.
Basit went further, saying that if Haris believes Babar needs improvement, then “he should be beaten with a stick.” His remarks sparked debate among fans.
