Big blow to Indian Airlines as Pakistan extends airspace ban

Author Avatar Web Desk | 6 months ago
Islamabad: The Pakistan Airports Authority has extended its airspace ban on Indian flights by one month, now effective until June 24, 2025, at 4:59 AM.

According to the official statement, the ban applies to all Indian-registered, operated, owned, or leased aircraft, including commercial and military flights. No Indian airline or operator will be permitted to use Pakistani airspace during this period.

The decision follows the May 23 National Security Committee meeting, where it was agreed to maintain the airspace closure in response to India’s continued aggressive posturing.
