Bollywood Actor Govinda Faces Divorce Case Filed by Wife Sunita Ahuja

Mumbai – Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, has decided to file for divorce. She approached the Bandra Family Court to start legal proceedings.
According to Indian media, Sunita cited extramarital affairs, mistreatment, and infidelity as key reasons for seeking separation. She claimed these issues made the marriage untenable.
The divorce petition was filed under various provisions of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. Sunita requested legal protection and fair settlement during the process.
The court had summoned Govinda on 25 May, and attempts were made since June to resolve matters privately. Sunita attended court sessions regularly, while Govinda repeatedly missed hearings.
The case has attracted widespread media attention, sparking discussions about marital issues among celebrities. Observers note it highlights ongoing challenges in high-profile marriages.
