Bollywood Actress Vaani Kapoor Removes Promotional Content of ‘Abir Gulaal’ Amid Rising Tensions

Following the recent Pahalgam incident and rising political tensions, Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor has taken down all promotional material related to her upcoming film Abir Gulaal from her social media platforms.
According to Indian media outlets, the film—starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan opposite Kapoor—was set to be released in cinemas across India on May 9. However, the Indian government reportedly imposed a ban on the film’s release, citing strained relations with Pakistan and allegations over the Pahalgam attack that resulted in the deaths of 26 tourists.
In response to the mounting pressure and official restrictions, Kapoor has quietly removed posters, trailers, and other content related to the romantic comedy from her digital channels.
