Bushra Bibi, Gandapur booked in seven new cases following violent protests in Attock

Former First Lady Bushra Bibi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and other leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been booked in seven new cases in Attock, Punjab, following recent violent protests, ARY News reported.
According to the details, Bushra Bibi, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly; Omar Ayub, former President; Arif Alvi; and several PTI lawmakers have been named in the cases filed at three police stations in Attock. The cases have been registered under 23 different sections, including terrorism, attempted murder, vandalism, and other charges.
The First Information Report (FIR) states that the suspects were involved in snatching tear gas, anti-riot kits, and mobile phones from police officers during the PTI-led protest. The registration of these cases follows a series of violent protests in the region, which have led to increased tensions between PTI leaders and law enforcement agencies.
