Car Sales Jump 41% in Pakistan in FY 2024-25’s First 9 Months

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s auto industry witnessed a strong rebound in the first nine months of the fiscal year 2024-25, with car sales increasing by 40.99% compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
A total of 76,265 cars were sold between July and March 2024-25, significantly higher than the 54,091 units sold during the same period in 2023-24.
The data shows notable growth in several popular models. Sales of Honda Civic and City reached 11,460 units, up from 8,514 units last year. Similarly, Toyota Corolla and Yaris sales jumped 48.92%, increasing from 10,730 units to 15,980 units.
Suzuki Swift also saw a major boost in performance with sales growing by 57.45%, rising from 3,586 units to 5,891 units.
However, not all models followed the upward trend. Sales of Suzuki Cultus dropped to 1,984 units from 2,803 units in the same period last year, while Suzuki WagonR sales declined from 2,652 units to 1,705 units.
