Islamabad – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced a one-month basic salary as a reward for Capital Development Authority (CDA) employees who played a key role in the Eid-ul-Adha clean-up operation across Islamabad.

The announcement was made during a special event held in honour of the CDA staff involved in the Zero Waste Operation during Eid. Minister Naqvi praised the dedication of the workers, calling their efforts “commendable” in maintaining cleanliness throughout the capital during the festival.

In his address, Naqvi stated that daily wage workers would receive Rs 15,000 each as a special bonus. He highlighted that within just three days, more than 2,400 tonnes of waste and animal remains were cleared from both urban and rural parts of Islamabad.
