China Knows the Consequences of Attacking Taiwan: Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that China fully understands what the consequences would be if it tried to take control of Taiwan. He stated that Chinese President Xi Jinping is aware that China knows the consequences of attacking Taiwan, and such a move would lead to serious outcomes. Trump emphasized that China would be making a grave mistake if it attempted any military action in the region.

 Trump mentioned that the issue of Taiwan was never discussed during his meeting with Xi Jinping. When asked if the United States would send troops if China launched an attack on Taiwan, Trump avoided giving a direct answer and said, “If it happens, you will find out.”
