China refuses to accept further deliveries from Boeing amid trade tensions

Author Avatar Web Desk | 3 weeks ago

China has declined to receive additional aircraft from U.S. aerospace giant Boeing, escalating ongoing trade tensions between Beijing and Washington.

According to international media reports, a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft has already been returned to the U.S., with another following shortly after. In a further blow, China has also imposed a ban on purchasing parts from American aircraft manufacturers.

The move comes amid rising friction, as the Chinese Ministry of Commerce issued a stern warning: “If the U.S. continues pressuring other countries to reduce trade with China, we will respond with strong countermeasures.”

This development coincides with active or upcoming trade negotiations between the U.S. and its allies, including Japan and South Korea.

Experts believe the standoff could have significant implications for both the global aviation industry and the international trade system.
