China Sends Two Aircraft with Relief Aid for Pakistan Flood Victims
Islamabad: Two aircraft carrying relief goods from China have arrived in Pakistan to assist flood victims.

 

According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the aid shipment includes 300 tents and 9,000 blankets.

A formal handover ceremony was held in Islamabad, attended by Federal Minister Amir Maqam, NDMA Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider, and the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan.

Speaking at the event, Federal Minister Amir Maqam stated that China’s timely assistance is a true reflection of the everlasting friendship between the two countries. He added that China has always stood by Pakistan in times of difficulty.

NDMA Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider, while addressing the gathering, said that under the Prime Minister’s directives, all necessary measures are being taken to provide relief to the victims.

He further noted that once again, China has demonstrated that it never leaves Pakistan alone in times of crisis.
