CM Sarfraz Bugti Announces 70% Drop in Quetta Crime Rate

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced a 70% drop in crime in Quetta over the past two months.

He highlighted improvements in the city’s law and order, attributing progress to enhanced monitoring and security measures under the Safe City project.

According to CM Bugti, 97% of Quetta’s surveillance cameras have been restored. This has made the city’s security system more effective.

The Chief Minister added that efforts are ongoing to gradually improve overall law and order in Balochistan, ensuring safer conditions for residents.

He emphasized that targeting innocent people is an unforgivable crime and vowed to continue strict action against criminal elements.

CM Bugti also praised the provincial police for their frontline role in combating terrorism and addressing criminal activities.

He expressed confidence that the combined efforts of authorities and security systems will maintain safety and stability in Quetta over the long term.
