Court Issues Arrest Warrant for YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan

ISLAMABAD – The District and Sessions Court has issued an arrest warrant for renowned journalist and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan in connection with an alleged social media campaign targeting Judge Humayun Dildar.
According to court officials, Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah issued the warrant on the request of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Sources confirmed that the agency sought legal permission to proceed after completing its initial inquiry.
The case alleges that Imran Riaz Khan and his associates led an online campaign against Judge Humayun Dildar, who has recently faced strong criticism on social media platforms.
Legal experts say the case represents a significant test of balance between freedom of expression and respect for the judiciary, highlighting ongoing tensions between digital activism and legal boundaries in Pakistan.
