DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif: Pakistan Army Committed to Defending the Nation

Abbottabad : Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has reiterated that the Pakistan Army remains fully committed to defending the nation and will deliver a strong and decisive response to any external aggression.
Speaking during an interactive session with university teachers and students in Abbottabad, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif discussed the Pakistan-Afghanistan border situation, national security challenges, and ongoing counterterrorism operations.
He emphasized that Pakistan has taken effective measures against terrorism and extremist elements, safeguarding peace and stability across the country.
During the session, participants paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of Pakistan’s armed forces.
Pakistan Must Unite to Eradicate Terrorism, Says DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif
Vice Chancellor of Hazara University, Dr. Ikramullah Khan, praised the army, saying, “The Pakistan Army is a true symbol of love and sacrifice for the homeland, always standing at the front lines for the nation’s defense.”
Teachers highlighted that hostile forces are attempting to mislead young minds, stressing the importance of providing students with accurate and verified information.
Students expressed pride in the Pakistan Army’s role, stating that the session helped clear misconceptions about the country’s security situation and provided them with a better understanding of the military’s efforts.
