DG ISPR meets students and teachers in Mardan

MARDAN: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has reiterated that the Pakistan Army and the people of Pakistan remain united and steadfast in the face of any external aggression.
Addressing an interactive session with teachers and students from various universities and religious seminaries in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the DG ISPR discussed key national and regional security matters.
Participants included representatives from Abdul Wali Khan University, Women University Mardan, the University of Engineering and Technology, and several religious institutions.
During the session, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif spoke on issues such as Marka-e-Haq, recent developments along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and the overall security environment in the region.
He highlighted that Pakistan has taken robust measures to counter terrorism and extremist elements, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to long-term peace and stability.
“The Pakistan Army and the nation will stand as a wall of steel against any form of enemy aggression,” he declared.
Participants expressed deep respect for the martyrs and veterans of the armed forces, acknowledging their sacrifices for peace and national progress. They also pledged their full support for the military, emphasizing that it is the responsibility of every citizen to stand by those who defend the country.

During a special interactive session, the DG ISPR answered questions from students, who expressed their strong resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army in defending the country.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif also met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Muhammad and faculty members. The participants praised the Pakistan Army for its sacrifices and recent achievements, including victories against hostile forces.
