DG ISPR : Pakistan Army and Nation Stand United Against Terrorism and Hostility

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan has taken effective measures against terrorism and the menace of Khawarij (extremist groups), adding that the Pakistan Army and the people will stand as a united front against any act of aggression from the enemy.
According to Dawn News, the DG ISPR held a special interactive session with faculty members and students of various universities and religious seminaries in Mardan, including Abdul Wali Khan University, Women University, and the University of Engineering and Technology.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif discussed national security challenges, Pak-Afghan tensions, and counterterrorism operations.
He emphasized that:
“The Pakistan Army has taken decisive steps against terrorism and extremist ideologies. The armed forces and the people of Pakistan will respond to any aggression as one solid wall.”

Students and teachers paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans, saying that the DG ISPR’s interaction helped clarify misconceptions about the armed forces.
They added that the nation holds the military in high esteem for its role in maintaining peace and development, while the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army for the defense of the homeland.
Participants appreciated the awareness session, stating that it shed light on how anti-state elements spread propaganda through social media, urging collective efforts to counter false narratives.
