Dubai set to host millions of travellers as New Year celebrations approach

Dubai is preparing for a surge in international travellers as the city gears up for the New Year celebrations. From December 13 to December 31, a staggering 5.2 million passengers are expected to pass through Dubai International Airport. On average, about 274,000 travellers are anticipated to arrive daily.

The busiest day during this period will be Friday, December 20, when the airport is set to host nearly 296,000 passengers. This influx is attributed to the city’s popularity as a global hub for tourism and business, especially during the holiday season.
