Eid al-Adha in Pakistan to be celebrated on June 7

Lahore: The crescent moon for Eid al-Adha was not sighted in Pakistan. As a result, Eid will be observed on June 7, 2025.
The announcement was made by Chair of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, after presiding over the committee’s meeting at the Kohsar Complex in Islamabad.
Representatives from SUPARCO, the Meteorological Department, and other relevant bodies were present. Zonal committees also held meetings in major cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar, but no credible moon sightings were reported.
