Facilities Provided to Bushra Bibi in Jail Detailed in Report Submitted to IHC

Islamabad: A detailed report outlining the prison facilities provided to Bushra Bibi, wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, was submitted to the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday by the Adiala Jail Superintendent.
The case was heard by Justice Raja Inam Ameen Minhas. Representing Bushra Bibi, lawyers Usman Gul and Zaheer Abbas Advocate appeared before the court. The Advocate General’s Office presented the official report, which the court directed to be shared with the petitioner’s legal team for review.
According to the report, Bushra Bibi is being housed in a separate and spacious room. She receives medical check-ups twice daily. Her room is equipped with a mattress, chair, table, bookshelf, lighting, and a fan, while a room cooler has been installed to provide relief from the summer heat.
Additional amenities include an LCD television, a dedicated kitchen area for preparing food, and meals approved by a medical officer.
