The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a significant increase in property valuations, with rates rising by up to 80% in 56 cities across the country. This new valuation will take effect on November 1.

In Islamabad, property prices in E-7 are set at PKR 150,000 per square yard, while sectors E-6 and F-7 have been valued at PKR 140,000 per square yard. Additionally, property in F-11 is now priced at PKR 70,000 per square yard.

Cities like Abbottabad, Attock, Bahawalnagar, and Bannu will also see an increase in property values, as detailed in the recent notification. New property rates have been established in Bhakkar, Bahawalpur, Chakwal, Chiniot, and Dera Ismail Khan. The increase extends to Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Gujrat, along with new rates set in Hafizabad, Haripur, Karachi, and Kasur.

The updated valuation lists also include Lahore, Okara, Mianwali, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, and Sargodha. The FBR believes that these updated property valuation tables will help generate more revenue from properties across the nation.
