Field Marshal and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrive in Bannu

BANNU – Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Bannu today, where important discussions on counter-terrorism strategies are expected.
According to security sources, the military and political leadership will review ongoing operations against terrorism and assess the overall security situation in the region.
During the visit, officials will be briefed on current challenges, and key decisions regarding future counter-terrorism measures are anticipated.
Sources further stated that the visit will also focus on the progress of ongoing operations and consultations on additional steps to ensure lasting peace and stability in the area.
