Floods Ravage
Catastrophic floods in Punjab have left nearly 5,000 villages under water, displacing hundreds of thousands of people. Survivors are not only battling hunger and thirst but are now facing outbreaks of disease in makeshift camps.

In areas such as Laki Bund in Muzaffargarh, thousands of families have taken shelter in temporary tents. Many say they are unable to return to their homes, while access to food and clean water remains scarce. Residents complain that relief efforts are inadequate, with some families receiving only one meal a day.

The health crisis is also worsening. A lack of mosquito nets and medicines has led to the spread of malaria and other infectious diseases, putting children and the elderly at serious risk.

Local communities are urgently appealing to the government and aid organizations to deliver food, clean drinking water, and medical support to prevent further loss of life.
