GHQ attack case: Court records statements of eight additional witnesses

During a hearing at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) recorded the testimony of eight more prosecution witnesses in the GHQ assault case.
PTI founder Imran Khan appeared in court before Judge Amjad Ali Shah, who presided over the case.
Sheikh Rashid, Shehryar Afridi, Raja Basharat, and Fawad Chaudhry were among the other defendants who made an appearance in court.
With Sub-Inspector Aqeel Ahmed documenting their warrants and advertising, the prosecution produced evidence and witness statements pertaining to the fugitive suspects Murad Saeed, Hammad Azhar, and Zulfi Bukhari.
Police officers Aqeel Ahmad (ASI), Shamrez Mehboob, Talib Hussain, and lady constable Samra Ashfaq were among the eight witnesses.
Additionally, the prosecution produced important case evidence, such as batons, cell phones, and other objects.
The court postponed the hearing to February 25. To date, 17 witnesses have provided recorded testimony.
The accusations against the suspects were filed at the Rawalpindi police station at R.A. Bazaar.
