Gold and Silver Prices Hit Record Highs in Pakistan

Gold and silver prices in Pakistan and worldwide surged on Saturday, reaching all-time highs amid strong investor demand.
The international gold market saw the price of gold per ounce rise close to $5,000 for the first time in history.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), 24-karat gold increased by Rs6,500 per tola, reaching Rs521,162.
The price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs5,573 to Rs446,812, reflecting global market trends and continued investor interest.

Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed by Rs5,109, settling at Rs409,592, marking another record for precious metals.
Silver also followed the upward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola rising by Rs526 to Rs10,801, the highest-ever price.
Experts attributed the price surge to central bank purchases, geopolitical tensions, and currency fluctuations, making gold and silver highly sought-after globally.
