Gold Becomes Cheaper Again, Significant Price Drop Recorded

KARACHI: Gold prices continued to decline for the second consecutive day, with international rates dropping to $3,325 per ounce.

Amid rising tensions between Pakistan and India, the international bullion market saw an $18 decrease in gold prices, bringing the per-ounce rate down to $3,325. The local gold market in Pakistan also witnessed a price drop.

In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 1,800 per tola, settling at Rs 350,900, while 10 grams of gold saw a reduction of Rs 1,543, now priced at Rs 300,840.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with one tola holding at Rs 3,417 and 10 grams at Rs 2,929.
