Gold prices drop in global and local markets

Karachi: Gold prices witnessed a decline both internationally and domestically.
On the international market, the price of gold dropped by $14 per ounce, bringing it down to $3,288.
In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 1,400 per tola, settling at Rs. 347,200, while 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 297,668.
Silver prices also declined: per tola silver dropped by Rs. 24 to Rs. 3,356 while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs. 21, now priced at Rs. 2,962.
