Gold Prices Drop Sharply After Hitting Record Highs

After several days of continuous gains, gold prices have seen a significant decline in both international and local markets, driven by increased selling pressure.
In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $116 per ounce, bringing it down to $3,338. The dip in global prices has directly impacted local rates in Pakistan as well.
Domestically, the price of gold per tola (approximately 11.66 grams) fell by Rs 11,700, settling at Rs 352,000. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs 10,031, now being sold at Rs 301,783.
