Gold prices drop sharply by Rs 2,300 per tola

Karachi: Gold prices saw a significant decline in both local and international markets.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs 2,300 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs 341,900. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 1,972, now priced at Rs 293,124.
On the international front, gold also declined by $23 per ounce, settling at $3,235 per ounce.
