Gold Prices Hit Record High in Pakistan, Surge by Rs3,200

Karachi, Pakistan – March 28, 2025: Gold prices surged to a new record high on Thursday, with 24-karat gold seeing a significant rise in value across Pakistan. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs3,200, reaching a new trading value of Rs321,000, compared to Rs317,800 on the previous trading day.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a substantial increase, rising by Rs2,743 to Rs275,205 from Rs272,462. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also climbed by Rs2,515, reaching Rs252,280, up from Rs249,765.

In addition to gold, silver prices also experienced an uptick. The price per tola of silver increased by Rs105, reaching Rs3,580, while the price of 10 grams of silver went up by Rs90, trading at Rs3,069.

The rise in local gold prices follows an increase in international markets. The price of gold globally rose by $31, reaching $3,052 from $3,021. Meanwhile, silver prices saw a modest increase of $1, moving up to $34.10 from $33.10.
