Gold prices reach record highs globally

Gold prices worldwide have surged to historic highs, with the global market inching closer to the $3,000 per ounce milestone.
According to media reports, the price of gold in the international market increased by $13 per ounce, reaching $2,997.
In Pakistan, gold prices also saw a significant rise, with per tola gold increasing by Rs 1,100, bringing the new price to Rs 314,800. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 943, now standing at Rs 269,890.
On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged, with per tola silver holding steady at Rs 3,530.
