Government announces Eidul Fitr holidays in 2025

The federal government has officially declared a three-day public holiday for Eid ul-Fitr 2025. According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, the holidays will commence on 31 March (Monday) and continue until 2 April (Wednesday).
Expected Date of Eid ul-Fitr
Astronomers have predicted that Eid ul-Fitr in Pakistan will occur on 31 March 2025. Based on lunar calculations, the holy month of Ramazan is anticipated to last for 29 days, leading to the Eid celebrations on Monday, 31 March.
