Govt, politicians & establishment united — that bothers some people: Mohsin Naqvi

Sukkur – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has dismissed rumours about President Asif Ali Zardari being removed, calling them baseless. He said the government, political leadership, and military establishment are on the same page for the first time — something that’s unsettling for some people.

Speaking to the media in Sukkur, Naqvi urged the public not to trust unverified social media reports, adding, “If we avoid political speculation for just two days, it would be a good thing.”

He shared that 2,700 processions are being held across the country, with the largest taking place in Sukkur, crediting the administration for its smooth handling.

Commenting on law and order in Sindh’s Shikarpur, Kashmore, and Kandhkot districts, Naqvi said the federal government is fully informed and, just like terrorists were dealt with in KP, dacoits in Sindh will soon be tackled through joint federal-provincial efforts.
